yoyoyo, i'm back from ATC (Adventure Training Camp) with 72 mosquitoes and sandflies bites!!! hahax =P.


DAY ONE (1 June)

So i and dickson went to meet up with zhihong and went to school. To my surprise, i realised that the whole squad, yes the whole squad, is like actually not looking forward to ATC... but still, we went for the sake of the ATC badge. hai... then fall in and we surrendered our lighters although they told us to bring... -_-lll Next, we bought the bus with the sec 3s and set off our way to changi ferry terminal while singing songs. when we reach there, we waited for a while then set off on a "boat" ride? reached pulau ubin in like 20 minutes later... well, in pulau ubin, some of the places is kind of like Singapore while some of it is like, you know, the"kampong" in Singapore 40 years ago... diao... O.O hahax not surprise though it is my first time there as i already heard from the other people that it is like that. then we walked to the Npcc Campsite that is like 5-10 Km long? haha, not mentioning that our lunch time is included in it. that means, the more time we take to walk, the less time we have for our lunch(dapao by ourself. mine is fried rice). hahahahaha... reached, and had our lunch for like 1 hour since we reached there fast. hmmm... the campsite seems to be very clean and "high class" as it is just completed in 2004. (as read from a metal poster on the wall.) why? cause they had the floors tiled and it is actually cleaner then our school. not mentioning the toilets, which are equipped with toilet papers and it "smells" nice too. hahax XD diao... O.O then talk to darren, zhihong, dickson for a while before setting off to bahru campsite as the noordin campsite is for the sec 3s. there we were then seperated into groups. i was in group 1 with michelle. after that, we had debrief on the rules and staff for the camp. so only british english is allowed. diao again O.O then we went to think of our group name, cheer and make our flag. so our group name is called Spongebob Squarepants -_-lll. no choice but we have to choose something that is yellow and is a cartoon. actually we want to choose pikachu one but because pikachu is very difficult to make cheer, we cancelled it. after that, we went to pitch our tent with the whole group, except me, not knowing how to pitch tent. hahahahaha... anyway, I managed to finish the tent with the rest of the group members using eye power... lol. -_-lll . then we had our dinner(1/2 of a packet of maggi mee), bathing, mock campfire and debrief with unit ICs. the debrief was nice when we are lying on the ground while the other school is doing pumping... haha. ya, not to mention that wenjie sir is trying to show us all his professional skills and tricks on the bicycle. haha again. =D after that was group debrief-ed, which was rather sainzzzz... we went to sleep in the tent with so much mosquitoes flying around that one can hear their flying and buzzing sounds. after that, woke up for sentry duty which was supposed to be at 1 am but we went for it at 12.40am with our group CI trying to open their eyes. =D

DAY TWO (2 JUNE)

so 37 of my mosquitoes and sandflies bites were contributed on the first day. woke up at 5am for pt before having breakfast. who would have the appetite when you have 37 mosquitoes and sandflies bites all over your arms and legs? so i only ate a few biscuits. after that we went for a walk that lasted for 3 hours. haha. lunch time...(a few biscuits also) then we had kayaking in a 2 seater kaya. hai... got grouped with a malay girl who is soooooooo... stupid that she need me to say paddle to the left or right for her. anyway, even with me asking her to paddle to the left or right, she would paddle to the right when i ask her to paddle to the left and left when i ask her to paddle to the right... no offence. hai... then we play maze and so on. then we had our dinner(a few biscuits again). after that we had debrief and a lot of stupid things before finally the campfire which was so sucky that i realised that our school or npcc campfire is at least a million times so much better... after that went for night wake with group 6 going first and group 1, which is my group, going last. not mentioning that only 4 people of each group were allowed to go at a time. anyway, the starting point of the nightwalk is at the beach which is filled with a lot of mosquitoes. so you can imagine sitting on the beach waiting for your turn to walk while feeding the mosquitoes. hai... finally, after like 2 hours of waiting, we reached our turn to walk. all the way back to the campsite. then it was like 1 am at that time and so we went to sleep. a lot of things happened at the sleeping time. but since it is too complicated, i shall skip it.



DAY THREE (3 JUNE)

another 31 of my mosquitoes and sandflies bites were contributed on the second day. wake up at 5.50am to brush teeth and fall in at 6 am. there we had our breakfast(a few biscuits again... diao... O.O) then had area cleaning, prize presentation and dismissal. had to walk all the way back to nordin campsite because got the sec 3s. got played by wen jie sir all the way. there were the hurricane, wilboar, hornet drills, camoflage and so on. at the noordin campsite, we took some photos with the sec 3s, CIs, Teachers and NCO before stting off to the ferry terminal. took a "boat" again and went back to Singapore and a bus to school realising 4 more mosquitoes and sandfiles bites. there at school we had some debrief about the new formation of badges on our full uniform, promotion test, sana anti drugs abuse, civil defence, AGM & games and got to know that i was selected for this npcc inter unit quiz or something. then we were dismissed. went to KFC with dickson and zhihong. after that we went home.

Yepppiii!!!!! I hereby declare that i survived in Area 3 ATC 2007 without falling out at all! three cheers!!! XD

p/s: As there is no reservoirs in pulau ubin, so the people there use Desalination to obtain freshwater, which is in short known as pure water and so it is the same as newater... hahax. so we survived in pulau ubin for 3 days 2 night with newater. just imagine...

p/s (2): I realised that my squad is soooooooooooooooooooooo... great! it is the best in Singapore after the ATC... =)
