Long time never post liao, blog rotting again. haha. Nevertheless, I'm back with a story for everyone! So Enjoy! xD

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.

"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me."

"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."

"There's something you should know," the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."

“But, son” exclaimed the parents almost immediately. “It’s not that we won’t want him, but you should know well that if he’ll to come and live with us, he will be a burden to us, given that he has lost an arm and a leg...” continued the parents. There was a dead silence after that, and the phone hung up.

Three days later, the soldier’s parents received a phone call from the military saying that their son had hung himself.

Saddened, the soldier’s parents was about to hang up when the person from the phone carried on saying that their son had fought bravely in Vietnam though and asked them to come down to claim their son’s body.

When the soldier’s parents reached there, they had a shocked of their life.

Their son had only an arm and a leg.

I guess friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They also make you smile and encourage you to succeed. (exception to some people though) They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their hearts to us. =) hahas. And i realised that time is passing really fast, I can still remember me at primary 6 recieving my results, and next year i'm going sec 4 already. Guess it's time to work hard. Wanna get 6 A1s for my O levels sia. xD

P/s: I love the story but i hate the ending. The son very ke lian. ;(
